I don’t usually do this…

by Aimee on July 30, 2008

but I was tagged by KnitSteph and to be honest, I was feeling a bit slack since I had WIPs to share today, but due to a 13.5 hour work day and then needing to get some school work done, well, pictures didn’t happen today. So instead…

The Rules: Rules are posted at the beginning. At the end of the post, the player tags 5 people and posts their names. Then the player goes to each of the “named” people’s blogs and leaves a comment, letting them know they’ve been tagged and asking them to read your blog. If you’ve been tagged, you do the same, letting the person who tagged you know when you’ve posted your answer. They, in turn, answer the following questions. Here we go!

1. What was I doing 10 years ago?

10 years ago I was a year out of college and was married to a man who it wouldn’t work out with despite all efforts. I was working as the manager of a movie theater.

2. What are 5 things on my to-do list today?

Only 5??

Work
School response
knit
Chiro appt
feed the cats

3. Snacks I enjoy:

I am not a big snacker. I don’t keep traditional snack food in the house so when I think of snacks I think of things like fiber one bars and yogurt – both of which I had today. I am fond of chocolate milkshakes, cookies and chocolate, but I don’t have them often with the weight loss – but I will profess a love for the 100 cal packs of Oreos.

4. Places I’ve lived:

I have lived all over…ready? Cocoa Beach, FL, St. Louis, CT, Wilmington, NC, Orlando and currently Charlotte, NC with a planned move to Kansas City soon…ish.

5. Things I would do if I were a billionaire:

knit, crochet, spin. I would buy all the stuff I want for those things and not worry about it. I would probably like to still work or do charity work since I get bored easily, but I would mostly knit. Tattoo Boyfriend would like to retire on a boat in the ocean (I have a little motion sickness issue, but I guess we will have to get over that) so I guess we would buy the boat and retire early. Oh and we would buy some itty bitty lifevests for the pugs and kitties. Or – I would buy an island. I would love an island of all my own as long as there was interwebs and delivered groceries and someone to make the margaritas (on the rocks, no salt please).

Uh – I won’t be tagging anyone. sorry. I don’t usually do these and I am not going to pass it on…

last summer there was an island off the coast of HHI that was for sale for $15 M. Complete with horse ranch, home, guest house, and private dock!

I will come visit you on your boat. That sounds like lots of fun! :)

Kansas City, huh? That’s my neck of the woods (I am ~30 miles east of KC).

Oops! I meant WEST of KC.

Is it Friday yet?
