I decided this year that I would do the Tour de Fleece again – I had a lot of fun last year and I learned a lot about my spinning, even though last year I only did 15 minutes a day.
This year I did a little more – and here is the first of the finished skeins – there are 2 more to keep your eye out for!
Roving: Gale’s Art purchased at The Loopy Ewe
Colorway: Cherry Blossom
Content: BFL
Weight: 4 oz
WPI: 14
Yardage: 244
This colorway was a little more orange than I thought from the online pic, however it spun beautifully and I love the way it looks now that it is spun and plyed! I also have a thing for cherry blossoms, so I had faith that this would work out in the end!
I will definitely be getting more of this roving in the future!!!

That is beautiful! This year was my first on the tour and I really enjoyed it!
It’s gorgeous! I’ve been meaning to get that colorway, it’s so pretty!
Looks awesome, as usual!
Remind me next year to take part in Tour de Fleece. There I said it, in public.
Your stuff always looks so great. What do you think you will make with this?
Yum! Looks good enough to eat. I’m retired and make a lot of things for charity, so handspun doesn’t fit the budget. I’ve no interest in spinning my own yarn. Too many craft projects and too little time, even in retirement.
That is beautiful.. the colors are incredible!!!!
Wow!! That looks great!!
Hey, did you get the yarn bowl???
This is my first time reading your blog! I really like that color way though!!! It’s sooooo pretty!!! Now if only I could spin……
hehe
Ooh! beautiful! Good work.
Too orange. Let’s dye it.
