Just before The Loopy Ewe’s Spring Fling, I got to know the blogless Keri (Ravelry link). She asked me if I would spin some yarn for her, I said sure!

So this is Very Keri!

Roving: Sakcel Merino in Cockles purchased at The Loopy Ewe.
WIP – 10
Yards – 226

Keri wasn’t super specific on what she wanted, something cool, that is all she said.

In return, she made me a quilted knitting bag!

With it, was a notions bag, and a box bag (I have agreed to put up a picture tutorial on how she made this for her once she has it ready, so be looking for that!)

Notice that button? It means that I can hook my bag to something else – very handy!

I picked out handles this weekend and while I like these, I think they may be too dark and so I may paint them. I haven’t decided yet.

I picked out all the fabrics at this cute little shop in St Louis!

Gorgeous roving and that bag looks stupendous! Can’t wait for the tutorial.
Ack – the stitching on the edge of the buttonhole tab looks so gross close up! Ummm – it’s a fringe – a design feature. Really. (Goes to clean out her sewing machine as clearly lint must have been messing with the feed dogs.)
I didn’t work on a blessed thing yesterday – had to go get the male parental unit at the airport in the morning, then required a (4 hour) afternoon nap to recuperate. Will work on the photo tutorial this week.
I’m still fondling my gorgeous yarn – haven’t decided what it wants to be quite yet =)
Pretty handspun! Love the fabrics you chose too! Nice bags!
Lots of nifty stuff!! Handspun looks great!
Wow, that turned out great! (Both the yarn and the bag.) I have yet to do anything with my Myer’s House fabric.
