One of the women I work with sent me an email and asked if I would be willing to knit a hat for her SIL who is going through Chemo. I said yes.

Pattern: Shedir from Knitty
Yarn: Rowan Calmer
Needles: Addi size 3
Mods: None
Notes: I cabled without a cable needle.

I have included this so you can see the great pattern from the top…

…pay no attention to the fact that I am still in my jammies. Or that my hair is a mess.

that is a beautiful hat.
hope the recipient feels the care that went into the hat and that it speeds her recovery. Nice job!
I love the hat..it is fantastic!
That looks lovely, lady! Great job!
Love it!
Sigh, reading your blog makes me wish you lived down the street. There is so much I want you to teach me (like cabling without the cable needle) and I think it would be grand to just wander over and knit/spin with you. So, if TB doesn’t mind, could y’all move my way? I am sure the boy and TB could go play with motorcycles or something!
LOVE IT! Great work!
