Well, it would be if I had gone to Atlanta, however I convinced Olivia to come up for a little visit to Charlotte – she was having a rough week and she is my oldest, dearest and closest friend and therefore it is my duty to cheer her up – and I had to be in town this weekend.
So she came up and we went to the Stitch ‘n Pitch event. Please excuse my crazee face.
We knit.
We pretended to watch the game (ok, she watched, I knit and pretended to watch.)We watched some kids beat the crap out of each other.
The kids are over in the field and they went at it for the entire game.
Sunday morning came and I got to use some of my favorite things!
My Kitchenaid Artisan Stand Mixer and my waffle iron to make…
DEVILS FOOD CAKE WAFFLES (with blueberries..yummy).
I had to work at the shop on Sunday, which took a lot out of Olivia and Rozz! (Olivia is wearing one of my original designs which will be available soon).
Eva wonders why no one loves her…
It is because she isn’t as cuddly as Rozz, though apparently I napped and she napped on my chest – which Olivia says caused me to snore!

Yay for cheering up Olivia! I hope she feels better, give her hugs from me. Also, three cheers for belgian waffles.
I love you Eva! (and I know you love me too!)
Also, pats on the back for good friendships.
Mmm, devil’s food waffles…..
But you have such a cute crazee smile! Yay Olivia!
