Silk makes the difference

by Aimee on May 14, 2008

Well, this week I have been pretty settled into just one project – one that I CO last Wednesday night.

WIP WED 05142008

This is the April Sweater of the Month from Knitch – and I can’t wait to finish it – I am halfway through the hip increases – and there are only 2 rows to work on the sleeves, so I am close to being done! This is in the Manos Silk Blend and let me tell you what a joy it is to work with- I am not a big fan of Manos, but with the silk – oh joy! oh rapture!

Oh – and I officially accepted the new position last Tuesday – and it comes with a nice bump in pay I just found out today – so I have been working on that some as well as my current job – so that hasn’t left a lot of time for much else, but I am still knitting, so that’s good.
