For Emily

by Aimee on April 17, 2008

My friend Emily is getting married, so I had to knit her a little something to go along with the cutting board I bought her from her registry.

I mean every bride wants handknit dishcloths, right??

I named this Happy Couples because I like the way the lines “coupled up”. Yeah, I am a dork, shut up.

Yarn: Sugar and Cream in Yellow leftovers

I really like the Tribble idea! Great use for scrap yarn and a good way to replace those gross kitchen sponges…I do’t really like dishcloths..too bulky.

I’m in for the couples pattern when it’s created. I think it is very pretty. It would make a beautiful face cloth.

Those are very nice. You don’t mind if I copy ya, do you? *runs away before you can stop me*

And yes, it would be nice if folks would spread their weddings out. We have 3 weddings, 3 weeks in a row this summer. I guess we can just be grateful they didn’t end up on the same day.

I’d love a copy of the pattern. It’s very pretty.
