I had the privledge of participating in a swap for Loopy Groupies – those of us crazies who have Loopy Groupie status over at The Loopy Ewe. My pal, Anniebananie (on Ravelry) had a little comment that she didn’t own any hand knit socks because she always knits for everyone else and none for her.

Uh…I had to take care of that immediately.

Pattern: Pagoda Lace Socks by WendyKnits (purchased at TLE)
Yarn: Seacoast Handpaints Panda in Calypso (also purchased at TLE – that was the point of the swap, you see – a knitted object from yarn purchased at TLE)
Needles: Size 1 Addi Turbos in 32″
Mods: None
Notes: Not only did I magic loop these babies, I did two at a time! First time for everything!
Thoughts: This pattern is toe up but has a gusset. Which is weird. BUT it had the nicest looking heel EVER – you know how those picked up stitches can sometimes be weird looking? yeah, none of that.
I may eventually knit a pair of these for myself. Maybe. Though I rarely knit the same thing twice.
